My Story (SWEET TEMPTATION) - 014

It was during those brakeless bicycle days, I still remember how I used to stare at the yummy cakes, whenever I pass by any bakery. I am sure many of you or in fact most of us have had similar childhood experiences. But sadly for me, it happened after I was a fully-grown adult.

On my way to work at the mobile shop, there used to be many bakeries. And whenever I see all the goodies at the pastry shop I couldn't resist, but I also didn't have the money to savour them with full delight. On my mind, I would imagine the soft, juicy cake melting in my mouth.

May be these cravings are because I have stayed away from such indulgences for a long time. It was not a choice but it was the situation that has forced me away from the extra expenses. The budget was already so tight and the extra expenses would mean a big struggle by the end of the month.

So whenever I come across any bakery I would be in a dilemma. On one hand, I would have this guilty feeling of enjoying the good stuffs alone because back in my room, there are people who would appreciate just a bite of it. On the other hand, I didn't have money that I can buy enough sweets for all of us.

With this dilemma, I would sadly gulp away the saliva which got stored in my mouth at the sight of those tasty treats and go to work.

Nothing comes easy buddy, nothing comes easy.
